Fixing the sun

File this one under endearing moments.

I love it for several reasons. First, seeing how the toddler brain works and what they think is important is so much fun.  Second, how great is it that I get to watch people learning and experimenting with language.  Third, my babies are so sweet.

When I went in to get them this morning Em informed me that the sun was "hiding."  "Mama...sun...out!" she demanded.  So I opened the shades and she was absolutely thrilled. 

About half hour later our nanny was hanging out with them as I got ready to go.
 
"Nana...sun...hiding," says Em.  "Mama...fix...sun!"
"I fixed the sun, Emmy?"
"Yeah."

So, I did.
