January 13th, 2011

At 20 weeks of pregnancy, I underwent a specialized, risky and still very new surgery to fix the TTTS.  Amazingly, it worked.  And even more amazingly, both baby girls survived.  10 days of strict bedrest followed, during which time Mops and Pops took amazing care of us, Pat and Jim were irreplaceable support troops from afar, and Leah kept me in a bubble of feeling safe, sane, and loved. There's so much more to say about the journey that led us to this day, but I'll leave that for another post.
