Boy oh boy! This summer was a doozy, in the best way possible. Between renovating our basement, spending a few weekends out of town, Daly Family Vacation Week, and generally just trying to keep up with two 3 year olds, the photos on my camera started to die a slow death. I finally had time to go back through the backlog and will hopefully get through posting them before 2014 comes to a close... good grief.
July 4th week was spent in Giants Neck with our Southern Shoemaker family. We don't get to see my dad's brother and parts of his family as much as I'd like, due to geography, as they live in North Carolina and Seattle. It was such a fantastic reunion! Everyone put in a grand effort to meet up this year and it was so great. SO! A week in several parts.
