Don't eat your cooma-cumas in the lim-a-lim

Add these to the list of words they will someday pronounce correctly, and it will break my heart when they do.

Cooma-cumas / cucumbers

Lim-a-lim / living room

Mont / Chris's sister's house in Vermont.  It is not the state, just the house.

Band-ann / the thing you put on a boo boo to make a child stop crying

Foot / fruit, pronounced with with an "oo"

Li-bear / a place to go to borrow books

Strawbear, bluebear, rasbear / popular varieties of "foot"

Anything beginning with the letter L.  Toddler pronunciation makes you understand the Spanish "y" sound for "ll."  It is actually easier.  I respond to "Ye-uh."  There is also Yinda and Aunt Yezyie.
