As any alma mater giver knows, one of the strangely persistent rituals is the response gift of return labels. In appreciation for the ongoing benefits of my liberal arts education I will give you some money. In return, you will call me 14 times a year and send a calendar and some return labels... proving that you can find me every time I move.
Who even sends letters or needs return labels anymore? Other than Christmas/holiday cards, how often do you use return labels?
The good news for us was when we changed our last name to Daly the giant "D" on the Dartmouth return labels was passable. Even so, we end up throwing them out each year.
Not this year, however. Dear Old Dartmouth, thanks for the stickers! Probably not exactly what you had in mind, huh?
