An Oldie But A Goodie

Both the picture and the choice in literature.

I carry this picture in my phone because it makes me laugh all the time.  The girls love books.  Several months ago they found the big kid bookshelves.  If given the opportunity they pull books off to "read".  "Reading" consists of sitting down and flipping through lots of pages.  Their two favorite books are The Communist Manifesto and the Plunkitt of Tammany Hall.  On the political science spectrum that is excellent variety, ladies.

Apparently the government/evolutionary biology shelf is baby height.  I suspect it is the size, not the content, of these books that is so compelling.  The chicklets are no dummies -- they know they'd break a toe if they could even manage to pull any of Chris' books off the shelf. 

Needless to say I am constantly finding The Communist Manifesto lying around the house.
