Happy Halloween!

The girls first Halloween was super fun, thanks to our friends!  To be honest, I'm not much of a costume kind of girl... I just never really got into it. But with little kids, I'm totally gung-ho. The creativity and fantasy of it all is just great for little ones. Despite the fact that the girls wouldn't really grasp the concept of costumes or candy or anything being any different than usual (except perhaps for the really late bedtime which wrecked us for the rest of the week...), we decided to celebrate anyway.

Maddie, friend extraordinaire, made a costume for the girls which included their stroller (not having to carry them = AWESOME!).  We went over to Maddie & Sarah's neighborhood for the annual Halloween parade, followed by handing out treats to trick-or-treaters at SKT's house.

...and the Big Bad Wolf (Lucy T!)

The Teperas take their costumes very seriously.  Sarah's mom got included this year to round out the Three Little Pigs!

The peas are up way past their bedtime...
