Real conversation that took place last night. These kids kill me dead sometimes. This conversation had me stunned as to how kids make connections, and also laughing in stitches. Are you kidding me?! You can't make these things up...
E: My pants are falling down!
C: Those damn pants...
Mom: Char, what did you say???
C: Nothing...
Mom: Sweetie, we can't say that word. I know mommy probably used that exact phrase, and you heard me and are only imitating, but it's a bad word, and we can't say it... Ok?
...silence...
E: But, mom!!! A beaver's home is a den in a dam. (drops mic)
Mom: (speechless, and trying not to giggle...) Well, Em, if you're talking about a beaver's home, then I guess you can say dam.
