Pine tree nest

The girls have been playing games where they make up elaborate stories about their babies, nests, going on trips on airplanes, being sick and going to the "hopsis" (hospital), and gathering food for the winter. As makes sense, their plot lines are directly related to books we are reading or things happening in their lives. It's so cool. Here is a recent series involving a nest, wherein they construct the nest, Em tries it out, they sit and watch the ducks and holler at me to stop taking pictures, and then rest quietly together. Their connection is seamless, unspoken, and truly spellbinding to watch. It's an honor to witness.
