Labor Day beach week

Every year, the Shoemaker/Carney/Daly clan tries to get together for a week at the beach over Labor Day.  It just so happens that a lot of birthdays fall at the end of summer, as well as my parents' anniversary, so it's a nice time to be all together.  Leslie's good friend, Kelsey, and her family also rent a house in Giants Neck during that same time - it's always such a blast!  I only snapped pics on one day this time ~ being the photographer in a room takes you out of really engaging in the moment, and while I love doing it, sometimes when I'm with my people, I just want to be really IN the room.  So, while I don't have all the people and fun of the week documented, here is a snapshot...
