This fall, after the girls and I moved from Austin to my parent's beach house in CT, and Leah was working in Waltham, my sister and her husband celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. Long before our plans to descend upon my parents in all of our chaotic glory, my sister had arranged to drop the kids off for the weekend with Gram and Poppy, and go away for some much deserved alone time. Once we added the twins to the mix, we all got a little nervous about how it was all going to go. But, hey! 4 kids, 4 adults, we were man-on-man. No problem, right?!
We actually had a really wonderful weekend. I (Aunt Tina) got to spend some amazing quality time with Tyler, and Paigey had a blast watching all three older kids run wild.
The pics aren't anything special, but they remind me of how much fun we had that weekend! My favorite memories include Charlotte jumping crazily in Paige's baby circle-of-neglect, four kids eating breakfast at once (P in her carseat because we ran out of highchairs!), and then Tyler falling and bleeding everywhere and Paige projectile vomiting 3 hours before Leslie and Jason came home. Welcome home, parents! :)
