This summer, two of our very dearest friends got married and we were back east to attend both weddings. The first was one of Leah's good friends from college, Scotty. She was married at the Shaker Village in Enfield, NH, and it was a gorgeous Indian ceremony, replete with bagpipes to honor Scotty's heritage. Serendipitously, a hummingbird flew into the ceremony barn and drank from the altar flowers throughout the entire ceremony; hummingbirds are a sign of good luck, apparently. The night ended with a bang, quite literally - a fireworks show on the lawn. Thank you for a wonderful weekend, friend!
Of course, I didn't actually take pictures of any of our friends, or the wedding itself... Just all the amazing little people who were gathered there. Our friends have some of the coolest kids, I swear. We hung out a few times on the Dartmouth green. Here is the evidence.
