I'm not sure exactly who "those people" are... maybe the people who annoy you, or the ones you used to make fun of, or simply the folks who are just big stereotypes of themselves?
Every once in a while I have a moment when I realize I am those people and it makes me laugh without fail.
Three instances from recent days.
1) Swagger Wagon. Realization that you said bought the Subaru wagon because it is practical but when you drive around town you think, "damn, I look good." In a wagon? Seriously? Yeah, seriously.
2) Preptastic. You look down and everyone in your household is wearing argyle socks. Ok, not the dog, or the cat (because cats in socks is just weird), but all four humans.
3) Time for a healthy breakfast. It's morning transition time with the nanny and you are feeding the girls. "What's for breakfast," she asks? "Quinoa and Salmon," you reply. Because, sure, it's great food and, yes, it was what was left over, but can't the kids have cereal or yogurt like the rest of America?
