Hallelujah!

Today was a big day.  A major day.  I returned my rented hospital-grade breast pump to the rental store!  I still have one at home, and am still pumping in the morning, but as of tomorrow, I won't be pumping at work anymore!

The girls still breastfeed 3 times a day during the week, and 5 or so times a day on the weekends. Nursing has been one of the most amazing parts of this journey of parenthood so far.  I feel so blessed that it has worked so well, because I know it is a struggle for so many new moms.

I'm not quite ready for the nursing part of our story to be over, but let's just say I am NOT in the least bit sad that I'll only be pumping once a day!!  How far we've come from those first days when the girls were in NICU and it was pump pump pump every 3 hours around the clock...  In memory, here is a picture my mom took the day the girls were born of the colostrum I managed to collect that day for them.
