Linda & Keri visit!

One of Leah's good friends from Boston, Linda, came to Austin for a weekend and came over to meet with the girls on 9.23.11 - their five month birthday!  Linda & Keri (a good friend of Linda's who lives in town) brought us delicious fish tacos and we chowed down while the girls napped.  It was so SO great to see Linda again - lots of funny stories about her adventures up in New England, including being a support van driver for a gaggle of bikers.  Go Bob!  We miss you LP.  Come back again soon.  (How is it that I only have pictures of the babies and not a single one of our visitors with Leah or I??? This is becoming a pattern...)

Pictures...  Em is in the light pink stripes, Charlotte in the white.  Adorable outfits courtesy of Yvette & Moses! So sad - this is back when they had some hair - it's all gone now!  The girls that is.  As far as I know, Linda & Keri still have hair.

Dr. Blogger beat me to the excellent description, but I also wanted to throw in a few words.  Linda and I used to hike together a good bit, back when I lived somewhere with altitude.  Lucy's love for these two ladies actually stems, in part, from the nice Greenbelt hike we all took last time they visited.  In any event, Linda is a bit of a gearhead (takes one to know one) so she probably knew how excited I (we) would be with the phenomenal REI fleece jackets they brought for the girls.  Eggplant for Emerson and chartreuse for Charlotte.  Both girls were all smiles for Linda and Keri.  I think they knew fleece was on the line!  Thank you, thank you! We can't wait until it gets cold enough!!
