Babies' first Four Seasons brunch

While my mom & dad were here, the girls graced the patio at the Four Seasons for the first time.  The hotel in Austin has a beautiful restaurant called Trio, and the terrible truth is that Leah and I had never been either! Somewhere between grad school, a house, two animals, and then having babies - we never made it for dinner or cocktails or their infamous brunch. It was a wonderful, relaxing Sunday brunch. We all had the buffet, which is one of the most spectacular buffets I've ever seen.  The girls had their usual... breastmilk with a side of breastmilk.  They were wonderfully well behaved!

Outfits courtesy of Brandy Hayden Blood (& Michael Blood of course, but we all know who has the fashion sense!)  BHB had these adorable dresses custom-made and sent all the way from Brooklyn - they are gorgeous! Charlotte is in pink dress with the green polka dot collar, Emerson is in the blue dress.  Unfortunately Char had to have a costume change mid-way through brunch and ended up in a less-than couture pink striped onesie.  Ah, well.  Such is life when you have several wardrobe malfunctions a day...

Photo note: the strange reddish hue during breakfast was due to the lovely red canopy shading our table and keeping it out of the sun.
