Twins' first outing!

To celebrate their one-month birthday, Gram took the girls, Leah & I out to dinner at Perla's! We put the munchkins in their stroller - Em was decidedly fine with this plan, and fell promptly asleep, while Charlotte wasn't very keen on the idea, and threw a screaming fit until we started walking.  Motion = happy baby.  We walked to Perla's and since it was a Monday, the outside deck wasn't crowded.  We secured a corner table, allowing us to park the double-wide (which it's actually not - it's front to back - but that isn't a cute name, so, i'll continue with the misnomer.  i digress.) next to the table without taking up too much room.

Delicious!!  Mops: Crab wedge salad & grilled octopus appetizer.  Leah: bitter greens / beet salad, crab cake appetizer.  Chris: Crab wedge salad & oak-grilled salmon plate.  C & E:  funny, they ordered the same thing... the warmed milk special.

Special thank you to Mo & Dave who provided the adorable little outfits the girls are wearing... You can't see it, but Emerson has the cutest little crab on her butt, and Charlotte is decked out in abstract flowers. Awesomeness.  :)

It really was a special night.  Gram has left the Austin heat and is headed back up to Connecticut. She and Pops are looking forward to Memorial Day weekend at the beach with Leslie, Jason & Tyler.  Wish we were there!!


We'll all miss you Gram!  The girls, especially!
