Showered with love

Leslie, along with the irreplaceable help of our amazing friends Kelly, Kathrin, Sarah & Maddie, threw us the most amazing baby shower here in Austin.  It was held at K & K's gorgeous home, and it was really the most special, touching event.  I'm so glad we were able to do it in between the craziness of all the ups and downs of this pregnancy.  It will be one of our most treasured memories of the whole pregnancy.

The hostesses created the sweetest theme around "2 babies" - all the food was homemade by Kelly, Maddie & Sarah, and was named and labeled with creative tags depicting witty puns about twins.  The food was incredible, as I hear was the signature drink, which I unfortunately didn't get to sample - too much yumminess in it for a pregnant lady!  We'll have to recreate it after the girls are born... :)


The most special part of having a shower was that Pat, Beth, Leslie & Mops all flew down from New England to share  it with us.  We so wished it could have been a longer visit, but it was amazing having these special women with us.  And one very special little male was allowed to attend - Les brought Tyler!!  I hadn't seen him since his birth, and Leah had never met him, so it was really great hanging out.  I can't believe how much he's changed in 6 months!
